Pumpkin Patch

I'm so bummed because we usually hit up the pumpkin path with the Gardner's and Miller's but this year things were crazy for all of our families so we couldn't go together.  But of course we had to take Mollie to pick some pumpkins.

The day started off beautiful but by the time we got to Snowflake in the afternoon the wind had picked up....A Lot..... so it made for a not fun day.  We hurried and picked pumpkins, took some pictures, paid and left.  Ugh I HATE the wind.

We carried on with tradition afterwards and went to Trappers for lunch and pie.

Despite the wind it was still fun, and lunch was good.  My sister also went with us so we got to catch up with her.

Utah

Last week I got to go to Utah with my Mom to visit her sister, who I havent seen in ages.  I loaded up Mollie and Rocky and headed North.  Mollie did awesome on the trip, I was worried about her but it turned out fine.  Rocky also did good.

We stopped in Monticello, at the Park, on the way up, to take a break and have lunch.  It was beautiful there with all of the trees changing.  Monticello is the town where my Dad was born and raised, so that place is very familiar to us, I spent a lot of time there growing up and my Uncle still lives there.

We made it safe and sound late in the afternoon, and spent the rest of the week just relaxing a lot and catching up.

My Aunt has a dog (Maggie - not pictured) that Rocky wanted to play with but she was an old grouchy thing and wouldn't play so he played with her toys instead.

Mollie and I and Rocky went on a lot of walks.

There is also a beautiful running/walking trail right by my Aunts house that I ran on in the mornings and ran into some deer one morning.

We went to Price a couple of times to do some shopping (Wal-Mart).  I bought Mollie some new toys and she loved them all so much she didn't know which one to play with first.

We went out to eat while out and about and Mollie was very entertaining during our meals.

We also went to see my Grandparents house in Price where my Mom and Aunt were born and raised.

The house has changed a lot (been remolded by the new owners) but the memories I have there are still the same.  I loved going to my Grandparents house as a little girl.

It was a fun trip and I look forward to going again next yr.  I hope Mollie gets to know her Aunt since she is the only one alive on my Mom's side, my Mom's parents and brother have all passed away.

And now I leave you with one last picture.  This is my Mom and Aunt.  They thought I was taking a picture of Mollie (reverse camera on the iPhone) but I was really taking one of them.  Hehehe......

3 Months

Yep, 3 months!

It's been another fun month full of changes.  Mollie progresses everyday.  She is soooo close to rolling over.  Once, I put her on her side and she went to her tummy then back to her back.  I know she will do it on her own though soon.  She loves to talk, and we love to hear her sweet little voice.  Sometimes it seems as if she almost yells at us when she wants our attention.  She loves to be sang to and read to.  She loves books that play music and sings along with the music.  She smiles all the time, it is so awesome!  She also has the cutest little dimple on her check.  She sleeps good too and has since she was born.  I think she inherited her father's ability to sleep, which I'm so grateful for.  She is just one awesome baby but of course I am bias.

And even better than all of the things listed above....she has the sweetest, most amazing Spirit.

Lorin had training the 1st through the 4th in Vegas so Mollie and I packed up and went to Flagstaff to stay with my sister for a couple days.  Lorin met us there Thursday night and we stayed until Saturday. On Friday we took a drive up to Snowbowl, with my sister and her two boys, to see the changing leaves on all the trees.  I always talk about how much I love Flagstaff but I love it more in the Fall.  It's so beautiful.  We had alot of fun taking pictures and enjoyong the weather but when we were finishing up and heading back to the car my nephew got stung by a bee and all heck broke lose.  He freaked his brother freaked and so did my sister.  I was too busy trying to keep Mollie covered and safe.  Lorin stayed calm (even though he got stung by a bee too) and helped out and luckily there was an ER nurse at the top of the trail to help out too.  Thankfully my nephew was not allergic and just had a sore hand.  But we still got some beautiful pictures.

BEFORE the Bee sting

And of course here are Mollie's 3 month pics.
